Still Life 1 - Chapter 2
The adventure with Gus continues with an investigation of the Park and the Burned Neighbourhood in Still Life Chapter 2. Our detailed write-up, screenshots, and video will show you how to solve the various puzzles in these scenes quickly and easily.
Apolina and the Park Crime Scene
When you first arrive at the park you'll want to take a moment to talk to Apolina. It won't take you long to realize that she is not one of the nicest people in life. You get very little from her, except an overly confident comment that she is safe because of Roman's protection. Now if you think back to the little scene at the Lingerie Shop, you may recall he got arrested last night.
The first time you enter the park there will be a short cutscene where Gus has a vision of the murder. After the cutscene has finished you'll notice a Use icon in the corner of your screen. What you need to do is open your inventory and use the photo. While looking at the photo you'll need to click the right spot to continue. It's the one spot where what you see and what the photo shows are different.
The Hidden Message & The Angel's Ring
Once you have clicked the right place on the photo you'll get a close up near the foot of the statue. There is a message written in the broken corner which tells you where to look for the next clue.
Reading the hidden message unlocks new interactivity. You can now click on the top of the Angel Statue to get a close-up view of the Angel's hand. Here you will see a ring on her finger. Just click on the ring to start the next cutscene. A crow will swoop in and steal the ring, and Gus will chase the crow into the Burned Neighbourhood.
The Burned Neighbourhood & The Coachman
Once you have finished the cutscene started by taking the ring from the Angel, you'll arrive in a neighbourhood that has been devastated by fire. This is the Burned Neighbourhood. Just click on the door at the far end of the street and Gus will kick in the door and enter the building.
Inside the burned out building you'll find the Coachman. Talk to him. You'll enter into a rather long, but informative, conversation. By the end of the talk you'll have some new information that is key to progressing. There is another missing girl named Vladanna. It would seem that the killer is using the sewers to move around undetected.
The Burned Neighbourhood & The Coachman Wrap-Up
Upon finishing your conversation with the Coachman, and retrieving the Angel's ring, you'll end up in another cutscene with Ida. Apparently there may be a survivor. Iif so, she may be hiding in the Junkyard. And that would be your next destination.
